Start a recycling program in your school!

For those who haven't yet heard: The Jerusalem municipality set up
 a new recycling center on Givat Shaul St. opposite Herzog Hospital.
 You can recycle cans, jars, cartons, cooking oil, electronic and 
organic trash and more. Sun - Thurs 10 - 4 and Fri 10 - 2.

Places to visit and/or volunteer:

1. "Standing Together" www.stogether.org- they bring food to soldiers on the front line.

2.Gush Etzion- The Pina Chama at Tsomet Hagush- soldiers stop by to get a hot drink and a piece of cake

3.Lev Echad- volunteers in Sderot, Netivit, Ashkelon etc.going into bomb shelters and playing with the children, talking to the parents to distract them from the monotony of being in the shelters.

6.Table to Table- packing food for soldiers and for people in communities under bombardment. Collecting food from banquet halls for distribution.  They are happy to have volunteers even for one day. Contact them at 09-744-1757  or info@tabletotable.org.il

7.Yad Eliezer- preparing packages for soldiers in Gaza and for families in need www.yadeliezer.org

8. A package from Home- care packages for soldiers all over Israel.  You can also join the knitters from the Gush who are knitting caps for the soldiers.www.apackagefromhome.org
